
Lucy Ouyang
Lucy is a principal with the Philadelphia office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2014.
Experience
Lucy primarily consults with life and health insurance companies based in the U.S. and Bermuda. Her specialties include actuarial appraisals for mergers and acquisitions, sidecar investments, and financial reporting with a focus on investment. Lucy possesses extensive experience in the valuation of fixed-income securities and derivatives, actuarial appraisals, due diligence, asset liability management, strategic asset allocation, capital requirements, and financial reporting. Additionally, Lucy has experience assisting life and health insurance companies in analyzing enterprise-wide risks and supporting ORSA filings for clients. Lucy supported Bermudian insurers across various areas, including M&A transactions, field testing for both BMA Consultation Paper I and Consultation Paper II, and implementation of recent changes in BMA Consultation Papers. Lucy also assisted Bermuda Approved Actuaries with the review of Economic Balance Sheet Reporting. As an expert MG-ALFA user, she has contributed to the development of MG-ALFA models for appraisals and implemented regulatory reporting requirements for client models.
