Simi Jentry
Simi Jentry is a junior project manager and researcher with a strong academic foundation in actuarial science and data analytics. She joined the MicroInsurance Centre at Milliman in 2023, following a year of coaching young data professionals of various skill levels and six months of working in the actuarial industry.
Since joining, Simi has played a crucial role in conducting valuable research and developing microinsurance solutions aimed at enhancing resilience and mitigating climate-related risks in low-income communities across Asia and Africa. Her role includes backstopping client projects through comprehensive coordination, research, communications, and report writing.
Experience
She is proficient in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis, as well as Tableau and Metabase for dashboard development. She has applied these skills to solve business problems in the InsurTech and FinTech sectors and to improve actuarial processes in the insurance industry.
